    Sir, I have planned my joining for 2nd Jan(as mentioned in previous updates).

    As there are cases increasing due to current omicron variant cases as of December 31 Dec stand at 23,000 and many states have imposed curfews and travel restrictions as we are on the verge of a third wave.
    Is the administration thinking about re-considering the decision of stay on campus my parents are really worried about sending me back to campus
    Theres no such thing as bio bubble I myself have seen il literate villagers roaming scot free in the campus without even the 1st jab of vaccine.
    As I cannot move back and forth four times because of being from South India if II avail stay at home option

      looks like you and your parents arent educated enough , Parents who are concerned have a right to ask the concerns are valid one cannot come back and forth 4 times just for exams if one stays in a place like bangalore looks like you live just outside the campus in the village hence everything can be handled for people like you.

      Keep counting the waves bud there are more to come.
      By the way, the people you called illiterate make your campus stay comfortable. They feed you at the redis when you are hungry, clean your hostels, your rooms, wash and iron your clothes, cook food for you at the mess, repair your cycle etc . But you don't care, why would you right? Anyway, stay safe buddy.

If due to any unavoidable reason you have to cancel or postpone your plan, please explore the option of make-up through the AUGSD/AGSRD portal: https://academic.bits-pilani.ac.in/ Parents are requested to cooperate in the process of arrival. Updates

Common room will be open on 25 & 26 December (11:00 AM - 1:00 PM & 2:00 - 4:00 PM) for the students leaving the campus. Click here for more details. You need to login from BITS email account. Please note that in case of any doubt which is not mentioned here, call me. Unnecessary calls disturb us. There is no restriction on the time of joining. You may visit the campus any time between 2-5 January (FD-2021). The Akshay store will be open on Monday. For students who have been given a window (10-15 January), can join the campus on any date as per their convenience. Please note that anti-gen test is not valid . Only negative report of RT-PCR (not older than 72 hours) is applicable. For document verification there is no requirement of Parent's signature. The schedule of document verification will be communicated by Admission office later. Supreme Court & UGC/MHRD Regulations, it is mandatory for all students and their parents/guardian to sign separate undertakings and submit in the campus during hostel allotment.
