If we choose the stay on campus option are the classes going to be conducted online or offline ?
ReplyDeletePlease contact AUGSD.
DeleteIf i choose to stay only during examination option and leave campus after exams , then when can i comeback .
ReplyDeleteYes
DeleteWhat many days is the quarantine period once we visit the campus?
ReplyDeleteWill there be random allotment of rooms to the students from 2019 batch (third yearites) who opt 'stay only during examination'? If so, will they get a single occupancy room or a double occupancy room (with some random roommate)?
ReplyDeleteYes the student's with "stay during examination" will go for random allotment with single occupancy room.
DeleteCan we stay on campus after coming back for mid-sem if we choose the 'stay during examination' option.
ReplyDeleteAnd how will be the hostel allotment for the students taking the 'stay during examination' option in the 2020 batch?
In that case, you have to convert your option after the arrival. Only thing is that you won't be getting an option to choose the wing-mates.
DeleteSir, what is meant by wing formation?

DeleteSir is RT -PCR TEST Of my whole family members is compulsory who are coming along me to leave me
ReplyDeleteIf we wish to stay on campus, will we be allowed "atleast one leave" before the midsem for any family events/personal reasons at all?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeletesir what is the "wing formation" and is it there for the FD 2021 batch also?
ReplyDeleteWing refers to a cluster of 5-8 rooms in the hostel, generally in a single row. You can choose your neighbors.
DeleteCan we report to campus after 15th Jan if we have chosen the option to stay on campus?
ReplyDeleteSir, If I have chosen 'stay during exams', will I have to vacant the room that will be allotted to me for midsem exams, before leaving the campus? Or can I use the same room during the compre exams?
ReplyDeleteSir, I am below 18 yrs so have not been vaccinated. Can I still choose the option of "Stay on campus"?
ReplyDeleteSir, If I choose the "stay on-campus" option, will I be given the option to take leave for visiting home during the next semester?

ReplyDeleteSir,will students be allowed to stay on campus during the semester break i.ie. 28 dec to 10 jan??
ReplyDeleteSir, can I come back to campus on 26th as I have already booked my tickets
ReplyDeletesir for ME first year batch can we apply for single room??
ReplyDeleteSir, can you clear the ambiguity around mode of classes during the next semester. Will classes be completely online throughout the semester or will they be converted to hybrid mode as per covid situation, i.e. offline classes with the option to join through google meet. Since there is big difference in quality between the online lectures and hybrid lectures, clarity regarding the same will make our decision a lot easier.
ReplyDeleteThat depends on the situation. If most of the students will be on campus, the classes may run in hybrid/offline..
DeleteRegards
Sir could you please tell us how many number of people would make a wing? It would give us more clarity with respect to choosing our wingmates...
ReplyDeleteSir how will the students opting "stay only during exams" be charged for hostel fees. Will they be charged fee of the whole sem, or for only those days they stay oncampus?
ReplyDeleteSir, i will be reaching campus at about 6pm on 11th January. Will the registration and document verification be open at that time?? And also will the document verification be open on 12th January which is Sunday??
ReplyDeleteRTPCR test report, whether sms on mobile is enough or we have to bring printed QR report?
ReplyDeleteWill all the students go for a fresh allocation after completion of the academic year (i.e. after 2nd sem 2021-22)? Or will there be an option for retention?
ReplyDeleteSir please give FD 2020 students an option to stay in single occupancy room. This is unfair when we pay such a hefty fees to bits pilani. I am sure no body wants to live in double occupancy room. If you don't have the rooms why do you admit so many students in the first place.
ReplyDeleteWhen can I leave campus (come back home), if I fill "STAY ON CAMPUS"
ReplyDeleteIf i choose the option of leaving the campus is it possible for me to arrive on 15th February 2 days before the Comprehensive Examination.
ReplyDeleteSir, I'm unable to upload the NOC, the size of pDF is lesser than the vaccination certificate but that got accepted, while the NOC is being submitted but once I log out and login again, there's no file uploaded there.
ReplyDeleteWhere can i find the link for the 2 pdfs to be uploaded in the form(Parent consent & Last vaccine certificate). Also, I haven't been vaccinated even once, so am I to upload it nonetheless?

ReplyDeleteRespected Sir,
ReplyDeleteI am a final year student and only thesis is left for my last semester. Can i opt for “stay only during examination” option?
Regards
Sir how will classes be conducted once in campus ( hybrid or students will attend online classes from the hostel rooms only) need clarity on this before choosing to stay on campus or stay only during examination option in the form.
ReplyDeleteAlso if we choose stay on campus can we change our preference later when we reach the campus.
And when will we be allowed to come back if we choose to go home after exams.
Sir my sister(15 yo) is accompanying us.
ReplyDeleteWe will have her RTPCR report with us.
Do we need to take any special permission for it?
Sir how will the students opting "stay only during exams" be charged for hostel fees. Will they be charged fee of the whole semester, or for only those days that they stay on campus?
ReplyDeleteSir we are not able to login to the vaccination portal..... the page says only students from f2020,f2019,f2016,f2017,f2018,h2020,h2019 batches are allowed access, which does not include h2021
ReplyDeleteAre HD2021 students not being called to campus between 10th to 15th January 2021?
ReplyDeletewhy is hd 2021 not being allowed ?
ReplyDeleteWhat should the date of arriving to campus be chosen for option" stay during examination"
ReplyDeleteSir, many final year students have to travel out of campus for competitive exams like GATE, IES, etc.. Would leaving the campus for such purposes be permitted (given the bio-bubble protocol)?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Dear Sir,
ReplyDeleteI've a query since opting for joining for mid-sems and comprehensive exams would need to have a room allotted to us only for 15 days ,so would the fees for room be calculated for staying (15 days in this case) days or more.
Hoping to get a reply before last day of filling the form i.e 30th dec.
Thank you
Respected Sir,
ReplyDeleteIf a second year student chooses "stay off campus" will he get a single room or double room during midsems and compre exams?
If double occupancy is given, will he get a chance to choose his roomate?
Sir, I plan to stay on campus for the next semester.
ReplyDeleteHowever, due to my own sister's marriage on the 24th of April, I will be required to go home for a week. Will it be allowed?
Sir, It takes more than 30 hours to reach Pilani from my home town so do I have go for RTPCR Test 72 hours before leaving my home town or before reaching Pilani and it takes 3-4 days for the test report to come.
ReplyDeleteSir please clarify my doubt as soon as possible.
We have to report on 02.01.2022 at pilani campus. Pls re confirm we can join hostel on 02.01.22 keeping in view of prevalent COVID situation.
